Range Rover Sport L494 Launch Event UX Design
Challenge
Land Rover needed a tablet experience to showcase the features of the Range Rover Sport L494 for their launch event. Additionally, to entertain guests while waiting for the event to begin, an engaging experience had to be created. Furthermore, special attention was required for the timeline of events, as Daniel Craig revealed the all-new Range Rover Sport driving into the event in real-time. Guests needed to seamlessly follow Daniel's entrance while engaging with the showroom experience.
Solution
Designed a tablet and a life-sized display experience showcasing the car's features, while simultaneously entertaining guests with a gamified quiz titled "Think You're Driven?". The life-size display was designed to activate via motion sensors and could be navigated using voice commands in multiple languages, with touch functionality as a fallback option. While Gerry, the Creative Director of Land Rover, demonstrated and explained the car's main features with prerecorded answers on the life-size display, others were engaged with the tablet, discovering if they were driven enough to handle the new Range Rover Sport.
